Letting Go to Let It In: Trusting the Nudge to Move On

There’s a sacred timing to everything, even the endings we don’t fully expect or understand.

After nearly four years of offering readings and Reiki at Goddess Books & Gifts (aka Isis) on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, I’m closing the door on that chapter. It’s not a goodbye to the space entirely—I’ll still be reading at special events and psychic fairs—but it is a shift in my weekly rhythm, and a meaningful one.

Since beginning there in the fall of 2021, I’ve rebranded, expanded my offerings, and had the honor of doing thousands of readings. That space held me during a key phase of my growth—and now, my energy is being called elsewhere.

For the past few months, I felt the quiet pull. A whisper in my intuition. At first, I brushed it aside. After all, nothing was wrong. But the nudge kept returning—not from frustration, but from evolution. It just took me a little time to listen.

Two paths, honoring endings and making life decisions
The courage to step onto a new path without knowing where it leads... is called trust.
❝ The courage to step onto a new path without knowing where it leads... is called trust. ❞

I’ve seen this pattern not only in myself but in so many clients over the years. People come to me saying they want change: a new job, a new path, a new experience. But they’re still energetically holding onto the old one, waiting for something better to show up before they let go. And I get it. The unknown can be terrifying. There’s comfort in familiarity, even when it no longer fits.

But here’s what I’ve learned, again and again—your energy doesn’t fully align with the new until you release the old. When we cling to what no longer serves us, even out of habit or hope, there’s no room for what wants to come in. The universe responds when we act in truth. When we honor our knowing, even if we don’t know what’s next.

And sometimes, in trying to feel "safe" by figuring out what’s next, we unconsciously limit ourselves. We say, I’ll quit this job as soon as I find one that pays more… or I’ll move once I find the perfect house that checks every box. But sometimes, the perfect opportunity isn’t visible—not because it isn’t coming, but because it can’t land while your energy is still anchored in the old.

That’s the deeper truth about manifestation: it begins with energetic alignment. It requires trust to hold space for possibility without locking into a rigid form. Through our finite perspective, we may not see the full range of blessings and openings that are already on their way. Don’t limit yourself to the known. Be willing to trust and embrace the mystery.

The truth is, clarity often comes after the leap—not before. And it’s only by releasing what’s complete that your field becomes magnetic to what’s aligned.

I don’t have all the answers right now. I can’t tell you exactly what this change is opening the door to. But I trust it. I have full confidence that the next step will reveal itself in perfect time.

For now, I continue to offer sessions in my home studio, where many of you have already experienced the warm, grounded energy of that space. And I remain open—to expansion, to surprise, to whatever spirit has in store.

If you're feeling the pull to release something in your own life, I invite you to honor it. You don’t have to have the whole plan. You just have to know when you’re done, when it’s time, and when your soul is ready for something more.

Thank you for witnessing this transition, for walking with me through seasons of growth. And for trusting your own path, even when it asks you to leap.

If you’re not sure whether something in your life is complete—or if it’s time to step into something new—try sitting with these questions:

  • Where in my life am I feeling drained, restricted, or out of alignment?

  • Is there something I keep trying to “fix” or push through, even though I feel done?

  • What am I afraid will happen if I release this? What might be possible if I do?

  • Have I been asking for a sign while ignoring the inner knowing I already feel?

  • If I trusted that I would be supported, what choice would I make?

Let the answers come gently. You don’t have to force them. But when they arrive, honor them.

🌿 I’d love to hear from you.

If this speaks to where you are, feel free to share in the comments—what are you ready to release or call in?
